No Llamas please
Just had someone phone me to ask about buying 3 of my prints... They have been on dA trying to purchase these for over 3 hours and have not been able to get anywhere at all....
Has this happened to anyone else? Maybe we just don't know. Have anyone you tried to buy something yourself? It is not very easy for us, it must be a lots harder for anyone from outside who does not know their way round the site. OK I could have really done with the money, these were decent sized prints and I have 4 Grand children to buy gifts for also 3 of them and my son all have birthdays during the Christmas period.
How many people try to buy our prints and find the site too difficult to actually do so...?????
Any suggestions please.
I told this person to go to RedBubble, if the items they wanted were not there, I would make certain they soon were... Buying stuff from RedBubble is easy and does not take 3 hours to find you still can't even buy just one item on dA...
Yes I do go one about selling but this is just crazy. I have been here years and sold 1 tiny print and the few cents I am due from this sale will never be mine even if I live to be 120 at this rate... What the blazes are we all allowing this for?
Oh yes we are happy to have the friends here that we love so much. Well I am, and have been an artist all my life and sold all I produced until I came to dA, what I do now I had no idea that people really did want to buy it outside of dA.
However this proves my point... Please be serious and don't tell me you are just here and happy to have somewhere to show our work. I have blogs all over the web showing my work that all link back to dA...
Sorry I may look as if I am being greedy but when you live on benefits on your own and have no other way of supplementing your income it just makes you think what I actually happening here... Sorry for another rant...
