HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE

Wed Jul 27, 2011, 2:27 PM
No Llamas please

For many years I have been battling very high blood pressure. I managed to get off all pharma meds over 4 years ago. However recently I have been really scared and have had to see my doctor. 10 days ago he put me on some new pills which I thought were working, today I saw him and find they have done nothing at all, so he gave me something else.

I don't like to moan about my health, but I have really been conspicuous by my absence on here. I have not really felt much like doing much in the way of fractals as I have been so dizzy and woolly headed. I have been eating the right foods and I never eat meat. I meditate and exercise as much as I can without too much stress... However it seems I am now in the hands of big pharma and hate every minute of it. Everything I have been given gives me dreadful side effects which can all lead to conditions as bad if not worse than the high BP. I know many of you will be wanting to pass on tips and tricks, however as my brother has even higher BP than me and I talk to him every day, that we have tried and tested just about everything between us. Beta blockers, calcium channel blockers, Moxonodine, Bendroflumethiazide, Aldactone, Amias, Amlodopine etc.etc. I have tried many herbal remedies too, Hawthorn berry, olive leaf extract, I take Ubiquinol. My brother bought one of those Resperate devices, Don't think it did much good. The one thing I am totally not ever going to take are statins. I know a lot about them. They are mainly prescribed for high cholesterol reduction, however did you know the brain is made up of a lot of cholesterol? Remove that and you remove part of the brain...I With exercise you can turn that extra cholesterol into muscle. I often chat to people who are on statins and find they cannot absorb what I am saying. These drugs can cause dementia: [link] If a doctor prescribed Coq10 alongside the Statins then the effects would be minimalised, however doctors don't in most cases and the next step is most drugs for the treatment of dementia... And big pharma gets richer by the hour. You can lower your cholesterol with vitamin E. It's good for your skin at the same time.

I am sorry if some of you are on statins and happy to take them. I am not. This is my opinion and you are entitled to yours...

I will be back as soon as I feel a bit stronger.

Take care all my lovely friends

This is a condition most of my family have. Diet and vitamins will not affect it other than the use of cheap salt. Best to use small amounts of good sea salt or rock salt. Same with sugar Unrefined is best. Exercise moderately too.

Damn, I'm sorry. :( And yeah, I try to use good salt; my mom has high blood pressure problems too and I don't like her eating too much salt.

Don't take hot baths, they raise BP, though you probably already now that. I hope you find something soon, the last thing anyone needs is to worry about something that will only cause bad stress.

I'm looking for ways to manage stress myself...

I don't use the bath any more. I have wash downs. I am too worried about slipping and banging my head. As I live alone no-one would know...My shower is totally rubbish and I can't do anything about it, so washing down is all I can do. I think I am very clean. Plus I am not soaking in a load of fluoridated water. I am saving a lot of water too. I have a water meter and pay for what I use. I carry my mobile on a cord round my neck all the time. That is a good way to feel safer.
Try meditation to reduce your stress. It works very well. I am not stressed at all.

It is wonderful. I am hoping as I continue through this it will lower my BP naturally.
