Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

Please Pants Responsibly (Paper Notebooks FTW)

There are two ways to write a novel.  Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind).  So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me?  Pantser?  I think?  But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid.  And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly.  And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

The Used Game ParadigmOver the course of this past generation I've been watching the video game market react to the way it's been forced to deal with increasing changes. I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. Most video rental stores in America have gone extinct and outside specific Red Box Kiosks there aren't a lot of places for consumers to rent video games. The exception, of course, being thr

great stuff , fractals are every were in nature too ,i just had a talk at my house on imbolc about this , the guy knew his stuff , we have had some new crop circles around lincolnshire lately , and i have a great documentry on them i will email file if i can , there definatly a energy about them , have you stood in one , oh and they definatly not hoax , 2 men with a board doing them design is crazy x

I have not stood in a crop circle however the house I lived in previously was built on a 13th Saxon churchyard next to the site of a Saxon village called Eldmire. The field in front of the house was full of declivities that used to be streets, yet the main interest was the moat that ran round where the manor house used to stand. I have stood in the middle of where the house used to be and the energy I felt was so strong in made the hair on my head twitch. All coming up from my feet. The house had a presence, I used to hear moans and once a scream, another time I awoke to the sound of 2 voices one saying to the other, she is waking up now we must go. Another time I felt someone lying at my side, not weightless as one imagines but an actual presence. There was part of the garden I felt something really bad, like someone was buried there that was not a good spirit... As time went on the spirits accepted me and never bothered me. I was there for 12 years...

I left there just over 8 years ago and left these stories with the neighbour across the road. This house is empty of anything like that, however I had an email from the new tenants, they had been told my stories by the neighbours, their young daughter had seen someone standing at the foot of the bed, they had all heard footsteps, bangs and moans. I just told them not to worry at all, and that in a short time they would all be accepted and be safe and not see or hear anything more... I don't think anyone has been afraid. I did meet previous tenants at a party the neighbours had, they had been through similar experiences... They had lived happily there for over 20 years... Lots of energy we don't fully understand. I associate the energy from the crop circles with what I felt because I think we are all connected, that is ET's and us, spirits that have a lot to learn...

I would surely feel something from standing in a genuine crop circle... I am an intuitive empath Richard. XX
