This was my fathers house
[link] This is a Google Earth view of the whole property:
Sorry my red line is very wonky... Large screen small mouse syndrome...He died nearly 8 years ago... He didn't even leave me a keepsake. So don't worry I don't have anything. I live on benefits, my two brothers are each on low incomes and all the dosh went to my half sister and her other half at the time. I haven't seen her for about 30 years... Tried writing but had no response. She has a very different life to me...
However I just thought some of you would like to see what a beautiful house this is. It has had a lot of work done in the last few years, you can look through the rooms on the link if you want to.
I only ever spent a long weekend at the house, I was not wanted as I was the eldest... I wonder why??? However I have enough to eat, enough roof over my head and a bed to sleep in. How many homeless people could be accommodated in this place? The garden could feed about 20 a day for a year easily. There is a Victorian walled garden, not mentioned in the blurb. My stepmother was a keen gardener and used to grow far too much for their requirements.
Thanks for looking.

wish you were living in it now.......
school friend............again...........
For a while I went to live with a school friend and her family and realised what being happy at home was all about:[link] No longer a prisoner I tried to go back to try to make that same happiness in my own family. Ended up with a suicide attempt by me in August 1962. My father and all my mothers 5 childless sisters refused to come to the hospital where I was for over a week after which I decided to join the army as it would give me a place to live and a little money. Everyone had letters from home all the time but me... That was a lonely time until I married my first husband and found a new family in Ireland...
Lots more and it is all in my autobiography which is almost finished.
All these trials I have been through have given me something which has opened my eyes to the suffering in the world and made me who I am today...
I have sufficient to live reasonably comfortably on the benefits I get each week. The money my half sister and the rest eventually got their hands on has not brought any happiness at all to them as they had a crooked lawyer make certain none of the original 3 could even get a keepsake...
