As you know I had a nasty fall on October 6th. Broke my left shoulder blade and damaged my knee... I tried to contact my doctor, he was supposed to call me back the next day. I didn't hear from him until October 13th at 7.30pm... I had phoned reception twice in the mean time. When I eventually spoke to him and asked for some stronger pain killers and pain killing gel, he said they would be delivered to me on Tuesday... They never appeared. I have just phoned the pharmacy who do the delivery and they have not even had any notification of my prescription from the doctor... They are going to try to get the required form from the doctor today to be delivered tomorrow... That will be 10 days after I originally asked for pain killers... I have some mild ones but am reluctant to increase the dose.. I hurt a lot...
I don't think I can change my doctor as I was allocated this one and do not drive to find another... Right now I am not up to going anywhere on a bus...

Very fed up... The NHS was never this bad... Well not until recently...

Next the insurance, no win no fee people phoned to say they never got the photos I sent on Monday, by email. So I repeated the whole performance today, exactly the same way. attachments... I asked for a confirmation phone call, got one this afternoon. All fine, they just want more of them... So I have asked a friend to walk with me tomorrow to take the pictures. It is not far but I am too unsteady to walk by myself...

No doubt, whilst I walk to the end of the path the chap will arrive to try to deliver the prescription. So I will stick a note on the door to say PLEASE WAIT, back in a couple of minutes...

I am very fed up, with the pain, the system and myself...

Love to all...

This is a damn shame of having to wait, insist and wait again for what you need. Thinking of you and sending good vibes, dear friend.
